England - Peak District to Yorkshire Dales

The chancel arch at the end of the main aisle of St Edmund Church is decorated with traditional Norman zigzag patterns. Just passed the arch on the right is a simple Norman font. The lamps on the ends of the pews were made to burn oil but converted to electricity in 1964.
